Galveston, TX – The City of Galveston is celebrating the retirement of Jaime Salinas after more than 25 years of service with the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Salinas and his colleagues in the Parks Maintenance division marked the occasion Monday with a retirement luncheon at the Historic Galveston Water and Electric Light Community Center.
The city recognized Salinas for his more than two decades of service to Galveston and thanked him for his contributions to the Parks and Recreation Department.
City officials wished Salinas a happy retirement and expressed their appreciation for his years of dedication to the community.
After more than 25 years with the department, Salinas is now beginning his retirement, with the city saying his presence and work will be missed by his colleagues.
The city also wished Salinas the best of luck as he begins the next chapter of his life.
